Five international musicians met in the open mic scene of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and formed a band that took advantage of their varying backgrounds like true hip hop is meant to do. Combining the styles made them stronger, it made their music better and ultimately allowed them to give more of themselves to the art and culture they love.

Known for their explosive stage shows and genre-bending hip hop music, Hypnotic Fist Technique recorded their debut album "Golden Age: The Sequel" in Phnom Penh, almost inadvertently capturing the feel of the most creatively fertile eras of rap music with diverse musical composition and expert lyricism reminiscent of musical projects that came to prominence throughout the 90s.

Energetic and eclectic, Golden Age: The Sequel is a testament to the growing nexus of talent amassing in Phnom Penh, an awesome step forward for the Hypnotic Fist Technique.
